Hi Jason,
We were so sorry to hear about Kim's job. This economy is getting scarier by the day. Our neighbor was layed off yesterday from her truck dispatching job. I hope Kim finds a better job soon!

WOW John we will really miss you and the LONG... SLOW... ride back at idle it takes your ski back to hotel after it decides it's tired of riding!!  HeHe... Just kidding..... I really will miss you! Tell Cameron HELLO!

As for Kim.... that really sucks! You guys need to come just to get away and forget about the whole thing and have plenty of laughs... and those are FREE!!!!!! There are so many of us who haven't seen each other for some time now, I feel like this will be a Reunion of sorts. But we will of course understand if you can't make it. Hope to see ya there.

Todd and I went out yesterday and did some bush trimming and had another fantastic lunch at Lovers Key Resort. Trails are open and ready for all of us. We actually took along a newbie to the trails, whom I had just met at the boat ramp, she was there alone so I decided to show her a good time. Even though she ended up with a cut lip, scrached arm and leg, she will be joining us at SWFSSF. Thanks to her I knew just which branches to trim.
Please to all who are coming and fairly new to the trail riding sport, PRACTICE USING YOUR REVERSE! REVERSE is your friend when your heading into the branches.
I've been confused about the tides, different charts were saying different High tide times, even my GPS seem to be giving me wacky info, until now. I just reinstated my XM satillite weather package and it's now showing great tides all weekend. Starting at 8 am it will be 1.5 feet above low tide and continues up to 3 feet above low tide at 2 pm. I knew Todd and I picked this weekend last year for a good reason.
Our main sponsor who will be supplying our Saturday lunch'in finger food will be "www.watercraftinnovations.com" who was there last year with their stereo systems and brake light systems. They will be adding a new type of watercraft to our already great line up of toys. Wait 'till you see this one!!!!!! Their products have gone global since last ski fest. Congradulations Todd and crew!!!!
SBT will also be joining us with a few give away things and other surprises. Not sure If CJ will be joining us as she did last year, I think Todd almost had her convinced to go on a ride through the mangroves with him. Not sure if that was to be a private tour or not!???
  See you all soon!

Directions to Southwest Florida Summer Ski Fest, PWC paradise..
Take I-75 south (or north from the east coast) to exit 116, Bonita springs. Go down the ramp and turn right (if traveling south), turn left if you came from the east coast. Stay straight on that Road, (Bonita Beach Road) for about 9 miles and you will see the “Lovers Key Resort" 12 story tall building on your right. Turn right into the road/driveway follow it straight back past two other tall condo buildings. It is at the end of the road, short road at that. The management says that we must park our skis in the grass field on the left, right before their building. You will see others parked there when you arrive.
Bonita Beach Road from the interstate to the resort: Starts out well populated with lots of buildings and cross roads, for about 4 - 5 miles. Then is curves to your right (North) and you are now paralleling the gulf front. Only one row of homes separates you from the beach. Proceed a couple of miles and you go over your first bridge and onto an island. Up ahead is a very high, sky blue, water tower with "Bonita Springs" painted on it. Might be tough to see in the dark. The road then curves to the left and goes another mile to the next bridge. About a mile up from there is the free public boat launch on your right. (Lovers Key State Park) Pass right on by there because you’re only 1 more mile away from The Lovers Key Resort, on the right. After going over 1 more small bridge and kids play area on your right there will be the Road on your right to turn into. You will see the Big RED "LOVERS KEY" (In the dark of course.) words at the top of the building before you see the road that you turn on. Don’t go over the draw bridge.
It's really easy to find, TJ

We've got 40 rooms booked as of last Wed. at Lovers Key Resort.
A sponsor from last year , "full wave audio" stepped up to share their goods and supply our Happy Hour munchies for this year. Thanks Todd. Here's their web page-
http://www.watercraftinnovations.com/ , please check them out for your tunes on your ski. They will be giving away one of their systems at our get together to one lucky participant. Along with that once again, Lovers Key resort will also be giving away a free weekend stay at their resort as they have for the past eight years. www.loverskey.com

UPDATE!  We're IN... will be there tomorrow afternoon!  Thanks to some good friends offering to let us stay with them, we'll be able to keep the cost down and get away.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there.... don't forget to "fly your colors" (TBJSC apparel).

Saturday night, we're gonna have a contest to see who can do the best at staying on.... all I need is a YAMAHA to use (can't beat up the GOOD ski's)...LOL
