Hey Liza,

I can't be your "love slave," but I will share the cost of the room if you do not mind my company.

Nick, Sharon, Steve, and Jeannie have signed up and will be sharing a room. We are excited about the weekend. It was great last year. We were so happy to hear that Jason/Kim and Susan/Jay were able to farm your kids out because you both alway said you would love to look after Jaz. Just let me know which one plans to have her for the weekend so WE can run FREE. Just kidding, she is already set up with the nanny so we can come for the weekend and act like adults. Glad to hear so many members are going. I just need each of you to carry 5 gallons of gas so We will be able to make the whole trip.

We are looking forward and this sounds like a fun time.  Question for those who have been there before, with 13 and 15 year old girls would it still be a fun time or is more leaning toward an adult event?  Have their been many kids in the past.

Thanks

This is a great event.  It isn't a bad place for kids, they can have fun there... pool is gorgeous.  However, most of us choose to make this an adult event and leave the kids behind.  Its a romantic resort (hence, Lovers Key)... kids spoil that...hahaha..   Grin

With great regret, I will not be able to make this event again this year.  I have a conflict.  There is a Workshop with the American Cancer Society that I am required to attend this Saturday.  Hope everyone has a BLAST!

Ok. lets get this show on the road!!!!!! It's great to see your group will be there again. Todd and I will be visiting Lovers Key this week to review details on this years event. It will be the weekend of July 18 thru 20. It pretty much goes the same each year as those of you (which has been a lot) attend year to year know. Our local dealers are hurting quite a bit with sales so we might not be having the sponsored happy hour food this year. It's understandable the way the economy is so I think we can adapt. Were working on this though. The crowd might be smaller due to traveling and gas prices but small is good when it comes to mangrove ZIPPING! Right TODD? I'm a tad behind with moving this along due to a rough year of family and friends passing on. But, this should get my spirits jumping. We'll do our best to entertain everyone as usual. Once again, when contacting Lovers Key Resort make sure that you mention the you are with the naples ski group to get the discounted room price, which I really don't know what they are. I'll find out when we go over this week.
Do me a favor and please e-mail me with a count of the number of people in your group that will be attending. Send the mail to " tjstrain@mac.com" thanks TJ more to come

We've got 40 rooms booked as of last Wed. at Lovers Key Resort.
A sponsor from last year , "full wave audio" stepped up to share their goods and supply our Happy Hour  munchies for this year. Thanks Todd. Here's their web page-
http://www.watercraftinnovations.com/ , please check them out for your tunes on your ski.  They will be giving away one of their systems at our get together to one lucky participant. Along with that once again, Lovers Key resort will also be giving away a free weekend stay at their resort as they have for the past eight years.   www.loverskey.com

HELLO EVERYBODY!
Also with great regret i will not be attendidng.  Main reason is because i got my kids that weekend then i got to haul ass to south florida on sunday for family. Also i'm not trusting my ski these days. tHen theres the gas issue and other expenses for 1 person.
Anyways if anything, after testing my ski this weekend without the kids (fingers crrossed), i'll take them to calladessi (spelling) island and take the tube that they love to do on that weekend(july 19-20). BUt lets get there first.
I do miss you all terribly and hope to see you all soon.
P.s- maybe this weekend(july 12-13)

We are iffy now as well, Kim got layed off from her job last Thurs. before we left on vacation...so funds are definately a concern right  now.  If the kids and I hadnt already been in Illinois that would have been cancelled probably.

So, when we get home later this week we will figure things out and post again.  Right now, we don't know.

Jason

P.S. - Anybody know of an office/clerical position available anyplace close to us??? Let me know.
